(More customer reviews)I bought 2 of these stools, one for myself and one for a friend, to use for plein air painting. One of the stools was contructed incorrectly, hinged in the wrong place, so that it could neither fold properly nor sit level. Also, the fabric seat was upside-down! The other, though in much better condition, would not sit level on a level surface, and had some loose metal sliding around inside the tubing. Though I have had a similar stool in the past, and enjoyed its compact size and light weight, I do not feel confident enough with this manufacturer to try again for an undefective product.
