This is a book about four children who go visit their aunt. There they get a job at a store. They meet a friend that is strange around them sometimes. They then discover that she ran away from her family.
They're five main character. Benny is the youngest he is very energetic and he is always hungry. He helps find some important information. Violet also finds important information .she always keeps an open eye. Henry is very helpful. He is good connecting the clues. Jessie is very smart she is helpful in many ways. She is great at finding clues and connecting the clues together. Nancy is very sweet she is sneaky.
They put all their clues together and figure out the mystery. Then when they go to ask Nancy about it she confesses. They talk it over and they become friends again.
The conflict in the story was that Nancy was ling about things in her life. The children think that she is tiring to hurt MR. Jerry. At the end they find out that she is trying to keep it a secret that she ran away.
I think that this book was very interesting but at the beginning I did not like it at all. The more I read the better I began to like it. I would recommend this book to people who like boring beginnings and great endings. I will recommend it to others especially people who like mysteries.
