(More customer reviews)Ok, first of all I am NOT a professional painter. I am a hobbyist in the process of rebuilding my Jeep CJ7. I needed a decent spray gun to prime the Jeep in preparation for the pros at the paint shop (trying to save a little cash by doing the prep work).
I did some research and found that I needed a spray gun with a 1.8 tip (for the thicker primer). This gun caught my eye as it came with a metal (as opposed to plastic) cup and a regulator for a great price. The gun arrived as advertised and was well packaged, with easy to understand instructions.
Overall, after using it to prime the Jeep, I was very impressed with the quality of the finish. It has the standard adjustable spray with knob, air volume knob and paint flow knob. The weight is well balanced and felt comfortable during the painting. The finish was even and consistent (remember that this was a prime coat). Again, I am not a pro painter, but this little beauty is a well built, quality gun for a great price (I paid $39.95 + shipping). Very satisfied!
